Books 'N' Beads

JourneyPartners’ launched our newest program in the fall of 2008 – the Books ‘N’ Beads program – to provide reading books for under-served children in the United States and abroad.  Our first project is to provide new and nearly-new books for the new children’s library, The Reading Tree, at the Center Pole on the Crow Indian Reservation in Garryowen, Montana.  Your contribution of $10 will purchase and ship a new children’s book, and will help to develop literacy skills in children and their parents through their newly-established program.

Beaded bookmarks are offered as incentive to the children for reading and returning their books to The Reading Tree.  Each bookmark is hand-made by ElastiMark, Inc., and marketed through JourneyPartners to fund additional books for children’s literacy programs, and to assist mothers and their children build a strong and healthy foundation for future reading competency.  You can purchase a beaded bookmark, or make a contribution that will provide a reward for a child who has met his or her reading goals.
